Many PTSD patients also suffer from depression

In a study of more than 6,600 civilians and service members with PTSD, more than half also suffered from depression. The findings suggest providers should evaluate patients for both depression and PTSD, researchers said. The study appeared online in the Journal of Traumatic Stress.
