Food industry is proactive on health changes

Food makers have been reducing sodium and calorie levels in food and applauding first lady Michelle Obama's childhood anti-obesity campaign. The food industry prefers to make changes voluntarily, and its efforts may explain why so far the federal government is not moving toward greater regulation.
