Survey: 77% of Americans support greenhouse-gas regulations

The percentage of Americans in favor of regulating greenhouse-gas emissions has increased, as the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico highlighted the need for cleaner energy sources, according to a poll by Yale and George Mason universities. About 77% of 1,204 Americans surveyed between May 14 and June 1 voiced support for regulating such emissions, up six points from January.
