Small firms increasingly turn to local telecoms

Seeking a combination of flexibility and moderate prices, many small business have begun to rely on local telecoms for their phone service. A Chicago-area Chamber of Commerce chose to set up its phone service through TDS Metrocom and uses Panasonic phone equipment in lieu of a receptionist.
