UN-led peace talks for Somalia run out of steam

The United Nations' envoy for Somalia announced Sunday that he has ended a conference aimed at reaching a peace agreement for the war-torn country after representatives of the government and opposition refused to meet. Both sides came to Djibouti, where the talks were being held, but they refused to meet face-to-face, apparently because of a dispute over Ethiopian troops' presence in Somalia.
