Google tries to lure enterprises with Outlook synchronization

Google's new "Apps Synch for Microsoft Outlook" marks its latest step toward making its hosted applications more alluring to business users. The application allows businesses to use Microsoft's e-mail, calendar and contacts software while storing the data in Google's hosted infrastructure and synchronizing it with Google's other enterprise applications.
