Energy execs share views on proposed Arctic drilling rules

Several energy executives shared their views about plans by federal regulators to establish specific rules for Arctic drilling during a meeting in Alaska. Royal Dutch Shell has long pushed for "clear, predictable, consistently applied rules," said Lucas Frances, an energy policy specialist with the company. Shell favors firm rules, but drillers need to be given room for innovation, Frances added.
