What clients should ask about instead of fees

Clients are focused on the fees that financial advisers charge, but advisers wish they would ask about a few other things before the relationship begins. Among them: "How long have you been doing this?" and "What licenses and designations do you have?" Advisers should talk about fees when clients ask, but they should also broaden the conversation, said Steven Hurst of Sunstone Wealth Management.
