BoE's Tucker talks bonds, loans at insurance conference

Speaking at the Association of British Insurers' conference, Paul Tucker, deputy governor for financial stability at the Bank of England, said liquidity of corporate bonds would improve by trading them on exchanges. He also said bankers must boost lending to businesses to spur a sustained recovery. Tucker urged insurers to dispose of their subordinated bank debt to help stabilise the banking system.
