Altera: Next year FPGAs will have 20nm, 14nm dimensions

Altera revealed that it will next year offer field-programmable gate arrays made with a 20-nanometer process, fabricated by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, and made with a 14nm process, fabricated by Intel. Production versions of the design software for those parts and engineering samples will be available in early 2014, the company said.
