Chief data officer is crucial for enterprisewide analytics strategy

Health groups seeking to adopt a successful enterprisewide data analytics plan should appoint a chief data officer who reports to any of the organization's C-suite executives to oversee the initiative, says Data Blueprint founder Peter Aiken. Organizations should also acknowledge that data analytics projects aren't alike and should be prioritized, he adds.
