More employers drawn to private insurance exchanges

Twenty-five percent of employers are considering offering employees health insurance from a privately run exchange within the next five years, according to data cited in an Accenture Research report. Private exchanges are based on a defined contribution model and shift financial risk to consumers, who often do not understand the model and may be dissatisfied, the report says.
