HMV tries to stay ahead of competition

HMV Group is looking to evolve its mix of music and books online and in stores to anticipate what people will want. "We have a very realistic assessment of what's going on in our product markets, and we're planning on that basis," the company's CEO said. "We're certainly not saying, 'The CD is going to bounce back.'"
