Connecticut awards $9.8M in stem cell research grants

The Connecticut Stem Cell Research Advisory Committee has awarded $9.8 million in research grants to more than 20 groups of scientists at the University of Connecticut and Yale University. The grants were awarded as part of the state's Stem Cell Research Fund, a $100 million initiative to advance research into embryonic and adult stem cells.
