Industry group unveils EHR Developer Code of Conduct

An EHR Developer Code of Conduct was launched by the HIMSS Electronic Health Record Association to show its commitment to conform to best practices in health IT-related areas such as patient safety, data portability and interoperability. "The commitment here is very much in line with our national plan," said National HIT Coordinator Dr. Farzad Mostashari, who praised the initiative.
