ISDA guideline seeks to align swaps-valuation practices

To align valuation practices in the derivatives market, ISDA has released a standardized credit-support annex. The document aims to eliminate extensive optionality that was the built into the previous CSA, published in 1994. "The standard CSA is part of ISDA's continuing efforts to increase efficiency and improve standardization in the [over-the-counter] derivatives markets," CEO Robert Pickel said.
