Lower childhood-obesity rates are seen in 2 Alaska school districts

CDC data revealed children in two school districts in Alaska showed lower obesity rates between school years 2003-04 and 2010-11. However, researchers said Alaska Native and American Indian children and those at schools with lower socioeconomic status did not attain reductions in obesity rates.
