NCTA chief touts cable's broadband, multiplatform initiatives

The cable industry's $200 billion in investments in broadband over the past 10 years have meant that 93% of the U.S. can access broadband at ever-increasing speeds, Michael Powell, president of the National Cable and Telecommunications Association. Powell also praised the industry's embrace of multiple platforms for "expanding the user experience to any screen you want, anytime you want, and anywhere you want."
