Office Depot, OfficeMax start CEO search

Office Depot and OfficeMax, whose shareholders are set to vote next month on the proposed $1.2 billion merger of the two companies, has hired executive recruiter Korn/Ferry International to launch the search for a CEO to lead the merged company. The firm is expected to consider both retailers' current CEOs as well as outside candidates for the position.
