Plastic surgeon's life keeps getting better through charity work

Plastic surgeon Steven Cohen removes children's tumors, repairs their cleft lips and reshapes their disfigured faces at the Fresh Start Clinic at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Cohen changed his career path from heart surgeon to plastic surgeon after watching a documentary about craniofacial plastic surgeon Paul Tessier. "For me, the reward is the pleasure of helping and using skills that I'm amazed that I even have," Cohen said. "... There is nothing more amazing than operating on children in the first months of their lives, and then having them walk into your office at 2 years old and they have turned into this little person who is smiling at you."
