Red Hat's OpenShift Online PaaS comes out of beta testing

The OpenShift Online platform-as-a-service offering from Red Hat is good to go, with more than 1 million applications available, Joab Jackson writes. Running on Amazon Web Services, the PaaS platform works with languages including Java, Node.js, PHP, Python, Perl and Ruby, and is attracting about 2,000 new apps a day and about 1,500 new users each week, according to Red Hat.
