What to consider when relocating for a job

If finding a job means moving to a new city, look for a place where the unemployment is low and the city is livable, human resources professional Terri Lee Ryan writes in this blog post. Job seekers should target up to eight cities at a time and be sure that their resume indicates a willingness to relocate. "Tell them that you are considering a move to this area and ask if they pay for relocation. Chances are, unless you are at the higher level position, they do not," Ryan writes.
