After the latest round of talks with Microsoft failed to yield any kind of agreement, Yahoo! has signed a nonexclusive deal with Google for the search leader to deliver ads next to some of Yahoo!'s search results and supply ads on certain of its sites in the U.S. and Canada. Bryan Wiener, chief executive of search agency 360i, said, "Out in the cold, is where this leaves Microsoft." According to one report, Yahoo! said it expects the deal to add between $250 million and $450 million in cash during its first year.
