Carbs can hurt blood vessel function, make you eat more

Carbohydrates boost blood sugar levels, which can hurt blood vessel function and raise the risk of cardiovascular disease, study results showed. Another report found people might feel fuller and therefore eat less if they reduce the amount of carbs in their diet. Researchers said people should shoot for low-glycemic index foods, such as oatmeal, most fruits and vegetables, legumes and nuts.
