AAFP wants transparency program to allow physician review of data

Physicians need a way to review information about themselves before drug and device companies report the data to the National Physician Payment Transparency Program, the American Academy of Family Physicians said in a letter to the CMS. The Physician Payments Sunshine Act requires drug and device manufacturers and other groups to report payments or gifts to physicians of $10 or more.
