Maine moves forward on GMO labeling

The Maine House of Representatives has voted in favor of a bill that would require labeling for food that contains genetically modified organisms. The legislation would require such food to carry a label stating "Produced with Genetic Engineering." The bill would go into effect only if four nearby states approve similar measures.
