Consumers who view branded video content on the recommendation of a friend are 14% more likely to say they enjoyed the video and 7% more likely to recall a brand name, according to a study from Decipher Research. Viewers who saw video recommended by friends were also 21% less likely to disagree with key brand statements, and 38% discussed the video with someone else within three days, the study found.
