States prepare for Affordable Care Act changes

As the deadline for the Affordable Care Act approaches, state regulators are racing to decide which health insurance plans qualify, how to increase the number of doctors and nurses and whether to not to declare if they will expand Medicaid coverage. State officials must make the changes, which include technical and administrative overhauls, before the ACA comes into full effect in January.
