Writing on Maine middle school's bathroom wall tells girls they are beautiful

Inspired by a national campaign called Operation Beautiful, fifth- and eighth-grade girls at a Maine middle school are working together to help improve female students' self-esteem. As part of the program, girls began by leaving positive and inspirational messages on sticky notes to share with other girls. The messages recently became more permanent when the students from the School Climate Team painted the messages on the bathroom walls.
