Manufacturers redesign SUVs to meet new standards

Some manufacturers have redesigned their sport utility vehicles to prevent them from running over smaller vehicles in a crash. Automakers in 2003 agreed to adopt the new standards by late 2009. They are required to lower the height at which their vehicles' front end hits other vehicles.
