The Arizona Legislature has approved the expansion of the state's Medicaid program with an 18-11 vote in the Senate and a 33-27 vote in the House. Republican Gov. Jan Brewer, who is expected to sign the legislation, called the decision a "sweet victory" and "a win, win, win all the way around." Through the expansion, 300,000 more Arizonans are expected to be covered with health insurance.
