Comcast is prepped for Ultra HD market to emerge

Comcast is "ready" for Ultra HD, should the format catch on with consumers, Mark Francisco, fellow of premises technology, said at The Cable Show in Washington, D.C. Comcast offered two live demonstrations of Ultra HD or 4K, which has four times greater resolution than the 1080p standard. One demo used Comcast's DOCSIS 3.0 network and the other its legacy QAM video technology.
