Farmers in Gaza want to resume exports to Israel

Fruit and vegetable growers in the Gaza Strip exported their produce to neighboring Israel until Hamas took control in 2006, and the farmers say reopening that market could help improve relationships in the region. "The market in Israel is a good market. All the time, we and Israel are in contact. We are neighbors," said Mahmoud Ikhlain, chairman of the Beit Lahiya Cooperative.
