Few insurers attracted to SHOP exchanges

Relatively few insurers have signed up to market plans on Small Business Health Option Program exchanges meant to make it easier for small businesses to provide insurance. The Obama administration has put more emphasis on marketplaces and tax credits for individuals and has delayed until 2015 a federal program to allow employees of small businesses to choose their own plans from the SHOP exchanges.
