Google, Facebook seize huge shares of mobile ad revenue

Google accounted for half of all global mobile ad spending last year and is projected to boost that share by 2 points this year and more than 5 points by 2015, according to eMarketer. Facebook is expected to go from taking in 9% of U.S. mobile ad revenue last year to 14.9% this year. Overall mobile ad spend in the U.S. is projected to total $7.65 billion in 2013, compared with $4.36 billion last year.
