GSE reform bill's path not easy in House

The GSE reform bill proposed by Sens. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., and Mark Warner, D-Va., has garnered bipartisan support in the Senate, but some House Republicans have other ideas about reform. Among the critics is Rep. Jeb Hensarling, R-Texas, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee. He takes issue with the explicit government backstop for catastrophic losses that reportedly would be part of the Senate bill.
