National Board Certification process leads to "aha moment"

The number of National Board Certified Teachers in West Virginia has increased by 65% in the past five years, and officials recently honored 60 teachers for earning the credential this year. Newly certified teacher Robin Peck said it was the NBCT application's video requirement that provided an "aha moment," allowing her to view herself while teaching. Peck, a 15-year educator, said she changed her methodology based on what she saw on her video.
