Ogilvy says mobile is a way to pair consumer needs, marketing

Mobile creates the opportunity to reach new audiences, but the more important goal should be to address consumer needs, Robert John Davis, worldwide interactive marketing director at Ogilvy, said at the 2013 MultiScreen Summit. Marketers need to provide seamless experience that moves easily between screens. "The best multiscreen marketing occurs when there is a core drawn between the goals of the marketplace and the desires of the users," he said.
