Project pairs educators and STEM mentors

Educators in the Columbus, Neb., area are getting ideas for lesson plans from industry mentors through a summer program called Project SHINE, sponsored by the National Science Foundation. The project, which aims to connect educators and businesses, provides mentorships and access to local businesses' facilities, program facilitator Merlin Lahm said.
