Roof replacement work to start at some N.J. schools

Roof replacement projects worth $955,075 are scheduled to begin soon at some schools in Midland Park, N.J., after voters approved the funding at an April 16 ballot. The undertaking calls for replacing the roofs at the Highland and Godwin elementary schools, and half of the roof at the Midland Park High School/Middle School, said Bill Sullivan, president of the school board. "Our plan is to have all the roofing work done over the summer when the students and majority of the staff are on break," Sullivan said.
