Amazon's music-streaming offering is missing some big names

Amazon has rolled out an ad-free streaming music service as part of its Prime membership program, but its song catalog lacks big names from Universal Music Group, such as Lady Gaga and Kanye West. Amazon is paying content owners a lump sum instead of per stream, a standard for the industry, and Universal Music felt the company's offer was too low, according to sources.
