Abruzzese leads Discovery's ad-sales success

While other networks suffered ad-sales setbacks in the first quarter of the year, Discovery was up 2% thanks to the work of Joe Abruzzese, the network's advertising sales president, and his team. "He's reorganized the sales group three times to make it more competitive," said David Zaslav, the CEO of Discovery Communications. "He loves to win, and they've been winning big for us."
