Cheescake Factory lowers Lux prices, adds casual notes

Cheesecake Factory plans to dress down some of the upscale notes of its Grand Lux Cafe chain and make the higher-end eateries look more like its namesake casual restaurants, the company said. A new Grand Lux location slated to open next year will be smaller and less formal than the 13 units now open, and all Grand Lux Cafes have lowered menu prices by about $2.
