All states should allow full scope of practice for NPs

It is time for all states to allow nurse practitioners to practice without physician oversight, AANP President Angela Golden writes in an article addressing the question of whether nurse practitioners can help solve the need for more primary care providers. Studies show that NPs spend more time with patients and they provide comparable quality of care to physicians.
