The Federal Communications Commission at its June 27 open meeting plans to provide an update on the incentive auction that could include a change in direction for its repacking plan. The FCC's split band repacking plan seems likely to be supplanted by one of the "51 Down" alternatives, but broadcasters are still concerned about how the agency will decide TV coverage areas and interference.
