Former football player to open Pittsburgh-area Wingstops

Ex-NFL player Shawntae Spencer announced plans to open 15 Wingstop locations in the Pittsburgh area after he frequented the restaurant with his teammates and decided he wanted to bring the chain to his hometown. "My business partners and I attended franchise conferences and did research on a few restaurant concepts. It happened that Wingstop was something I ate and loved and there were none in Pittsburgh, so it was a great fit," he said.
