Girls' sandals recalled over choking hazard

Stride Rite Children's Group on Thursday voluntarily recalled an estimated 7,500 of its Joanna sandals for girls because the metal flower attached on the sandals can detach and choke a child. No injuries have been reported, but the company received six reports of the flowers detaching and 11 reports of the flowers loosening.
