Legislation would require GMO labeling

States including Maine, Connecticut and Washington are moving forward or looking to move forward with labeling for food with genetically modified ingredients. "As more and more states take action, I believe lawmakers in Washington will realize that Congress and the FDA must ensure that all Americans know what's in the food they're eating," said Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., who has introduced a bill that would create a federal requirement.
