Senate committee to hear testimony on airline mergers

The Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee plans to hold a hearing on June 19 on airline mergers. The Department of Transportation's Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs Susan Kurland, the Government Accountability Office's Director of Civil Aviation Issues Gerald Dillingham and representatives from US Airways and American Airlines are scheduled to testify at the hearing.
