Senecas reach gambling compact with New York

The Seneca Nation of Indians has reached agreement with New York on its gambling compact. The tribe operates casinos in Niagara Falls, Buffalo and Salamanca, N.Y. The Senecas will pay the state and local governments $340 million in back payments. "This is hundreds of millions of dollars to the state in back money, and going forward as the partnership is renewed, it will be additional revenue," Gov. Andrew Cuomo said.
